- Low mood, sadness, or emptiness lasting most of the day, most days
- Loss of interest or pleasure in activities once enjoyed
- Changes in sleep, appetite, or energy
- Difficulty concentrating or making decisions
- Feelings of worthlessness or excessive guilt
- Episodes of unusually elevated mood, energy, or impulsivity (bipolar spectrum)
When to Seek Help
If low mood or mood swings are affecting your work, relationships, or ability to function for two weeks or more, it's worth having an assessment.
